    Guidelines

    Pre-conference

    • The conference will be done through Cisco Webex. Participants are suggested to make a webex account.
    • Participants will get the links to join the conference via email. One is the link for keynote speaker session and the others are links for parallel sessions.
    • Participants should prepare a laptop (or other gadgets) to join the conference.

    Plenary session

    • Participants and keynote speakers should join the conference on the scheduled time.
    • The host will lead the plenary session as the following :
      1. The host will open the plenary session
      2. The host will allow the first keynote speaker to give his/her 45-minute online presentation. During the presentation, participants can ask questions through "Chat" of the meeting. Do not forget to write the name of the keynote speaker to whom your questions are asked.
      3. The host will allow the second keynote speaker to give his/her 45-minute online presentation. During the presentation, participants can ask questions through "Chat" of the meeting. Do not forget to write the name of the keynote speaker to whom your questions are asked.
      4. The host will open discussion session for the first and second keynote speakers. Questions to be answered by keynote speakers are chosen by the host.
      5. Participants can ask further questions when needed, for example, when participants want to get more explanations on the ongoing answer.
      6. The host will continue leading the plenary session for the third and fourth keynote speakers. Steps 2 to 5 are repeated.
      7. The host will close the plenary session.
    • The plenary session will last for about 3 hours.

    Parallel Sessions

    Parallel sessions will be held right after the plenary session. The seminars will be led by moderators/ hosts in separate Webex meetings. The links of all meetings will be sent to email of the participants. Presenter-participants are hoped to stay in the meeting at least until the Q&A for their presentations are completed. Details are below:
    1. Presenter-participants are grouped based on topics of the articles.
    2. Participants, especially presenter-participants, should join the meeting on the time scheduled.
    3. The host will display video presentation of the presenters. Participants can ask questions during the presentations (by using "Chat" of the meeting).
    4. The presenters are allowed to answer the questions in the discussion time.
    5. The host will close the meeting.

    Preparation of video presentation

    1. Presenter-participants need to make his/her own audio-embedded presentation (voice accompanying every slide).
    2. Presenter-participants can make the presentation as PowerPoint or video-type file.
    3. The file should be sent no later than 2 weeks before the conference.
    4. Tutorial of how to make an audio-embedded presentation can be seen in the following videos.



    Certification:

    All attendees will be provided with delegate certificate signed by committee. Name and affiliation on the certificates will be printed on certificates as per our records, for any changes or requests regarding the certification— please contact us one month before the conference.
  • Certificates will be provided during the session or after completion of the session, so please make sure to be present until the end of the session.
  • Authors not attending the conference will not receive the certificate.
  • Conference Registration :

    1. Conference Registrations starts at 07:00 AM on August 6, 2020 in auditorium hall, Universitas Negeri Padang, Padang, Indonesia
    2. The exact name of the Plenary Session room is published in the final program.
    3. You will receive your conference badge, abstract book, conference program, vouchers for lunch at the registration desk. Please hand over your vouchers to
        the committee when getting your lunch.


    Presentation Guidelines

    Each parallel conference will have a moderator, with one or more committee members in attendance. Oral presentations for the ICChSE conference have been allocated 10 minutes of effective presentation time. One article can only be presented by a presenter, the other authors can register as non-presenters who help in the discussion sessions. Based on allocated presentation time, the presentation file should ideally contain approximately 10–12 PowerPoint slides. You are responsible for the content of your presentation.


    Submitting your presentation file

    All presenters are required to submit their presentation file during registration on the first or second day of the conference, at the submission desk in front of the Auditorium. It is not possible to use your own computer for your presentation.

      1. Your presentation file should be in a format compatible with Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 (or earlier).
      2. Bring your presentation on a USB memory stick. Facilities will not be provided for other submission methods.
      3. We highly recommend that you keep a backup of your presentation file on a second USB stick.
      4. Please do not embed videos in your presentation.


    Certification :

          printed on certificates as per our records, for any changes or requests regarding the certification— please contact us before one month of the conference.
      2. Certificates will be provided during the session or after completion of the session, so please make sure to be present until the session ends.
      3. Authors not attending the conference will not receive the certificate.
